With the external charger for the Inogen One G5 and Rove 6 you can charge both 8-cell and 16-cell batteries from any socket, independently of the mobile concentrator. The concentrator itself automatically charges the battery as soon as it is inserted and the device is connected to a power source (except during a flight). The external charger allows you to charge both the standard battery (8-cell battery) and the more powerful battery (16-cell battery) without the battery having to be inserted in the oxygen concentrator. This means you can conveniently charge your spare batteries when they are not in use and always have a fully charged battery to hand. 

Note: The external charger is not included in the standard scope of delivery of the oxygen device.
