The ResMed chin rest is used to prevent the mouth from opening during the positive airway. The band enables pressure treatment (PAP) and minimizes air loss through the mouth. The Universal Chin Strap can be used in conjunction with a variety of CPAP mask and pillow systems.
Especially if we find a full-face mask annoying, the ResMed chin rest helps with pleasant sleep therapy as it allows the use of a freer nasal mask and keeps the mouth closed during CPAP therapy or ventilation holds.
